That can be a badge added to a browser shortcut. The Expand Love icon itself contains only “EL”; the website cannot remove a badge added by your browser or phone.
On Android, open this page in Chrome and follow the installation steps above. Once the new app works, remove the old Brave shortcut from your home screen. The final icon appearance depends on your browser and launcher.
The app uses the same live LMS as the website. Saved content stays connected, and new releases show an update notice. An internet connection is needed for courses and recordings.
